A structured, safeguarding-led organisation supporting young people to build confidence, regulate emotions and move forward through meaningful, practical support.

Get Game Ready CIC began with a simple aim, to improve life outcomes and wellbeing within the community.
The early work focused on creating environments where young people could feel safe, supported and able to take part. What started as a small youth-based initiative quickly highlighted a wider need.
Many young people were not lacking ability or potential. They were lacking the right environment.
That realisation shaped everything that followed.
As the work developed, it became clear that consistent results were not coming from one activity or service, but from how the environment was structured.
This led to the development of what is now known as the Life Preparation Model.
Rather than focusing on isolated issues, the approach looks at the wider factors that influence behaviour, confidence and engagement.
This is what allows the organisation to deliver consistent outcomes across different services, from alternative provision and inclusion football through to youth development and counselling.

Get Game Ready CIC now provides a range of structured services designed to support young people at different stages.
Each service is different in delivery, but consistent in approach.
The organisation works with schools and local authorities across Warwickshire, Coventry and surrounding areas.
All services are delivered within a structured framework, with clear safeguarding procedures, consistent expectations and a focus on measurable outcomes.
This combination of structure and flexibility allows the organisation to respond to individual needs while maintaining a high standard of delivery.
Get Game Ready CIC is led by Gareth Llewelyn, an integrative counsellor and practitioner with a background in supporting young people across community and education settings.
Gareth holds a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling (CPCAB) and is a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP). He is DBS checked, fully insured, and experienced in working with young people facing Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges and neurodiversity.
Alongside his counselling work, Gareth has supported students within school environments, helping them manage anxiety, low confidence and emotional regulation, while also working with families to provide wider support.
He is also the creator of the Life Preparation Model, which underpins the organisation’s structured approach across all services.
The focus remains consistent: creating environments where individuals feel safe enough to engage, and supported enough to move forward.
The aim is not simply to provide services, but to create long-term impact.
That means continuing to develop structured support, strengthening partnerships with schools and local authorities, and expanding opportunities for young people who need a different approach.
The focus remains on helping individuals move forward, in a way that is realistic, consistent and meaningful.
